Quando este tema começou a invadir as rádios eu vivia o final agonizante da minha primeira relação amorosa e imediatamente colei toda a dor que sentia ao "One". Inconsciente das minhas próprias limitações emocionais na altura, estava convencida que tinha dado tudo àquele amor e sofria perdida em ilusões, assustada por novas realidades que me batiam de chapa como ondas no Inverno.
